Welcome to plugilo! Our platform is designed to enable an inspiring, secure and efficient exchange of product information and any kind of information between end customers and partner customers (manufacturers, retailers, influencers and other platforms). We stand for content that is relevant, high-quality and trustworthy. To ensure this, we have developed guidelines that are based on the strictest global standards and are binding on all users. These rules apply to all generated cards, bundled stacks, comments, chats and any form of communication on the platform, regardless of whether the plugilo app, the plugilo portal, plugilo widgets or a third-party connection are used for this purpose.
1. Basic principles and purpose
- Community goal: plugilo serves to network and exchange knowledge about products. We promote transparent communication that offers added value to both consumers and professional actors (manufacturers/retailers).
- Personal responsibility: As a user, you are solely responsible for the content you publish (cards, stacks, comments, messages) as well as for your interactions with other participants. plugilo assumes no liability for user-generated content.
- Relevance requirement: In order to maintain the efficiency of the platform, plugilo reserves the right to remove public content that has no factual connection to products, brands or trade and thus interferes with professional exchange (spam/off-topic).
2. Security and non-violence (zero tolerance)
plugilo is no place for violence, threats or dangerous organizations. We are guided by the strictest safety standards to protect the physical and mental well-being of our users.
- Violence and threats: Any content that depicts, threatens, glorifies or incites violence is strictly prohibited. This also includes veiled threats or the celebration of acts of violence.
- Shocking content: We don’t allow content that is overly cruel, sadistic, or shocking (e.g., depictions of serious physical injury), even if it would be newsworthy in nature.
- Self-harm: Content that promotes, rationalizes, or provides guidance on suicide, self-mutilation, or eating disorders will not be tolerated. This also applies to quotes or humor that trivialize these topics.
- Dangerous organizations: Terrorist groups, hate groups, or criminal organizations may not use plugilo or share content that supports or represents these groups.
3. Protection of minors and sexual content
In order to create an environment of trust, stricter rules apply on plugilo than on many other social networks. We do not tolerate pornography or sexualized content.
- Protection of minors: We have a zero-tolerance policy towards the exploitation of children. This goes beyond illegal material: we prohibit any content that sexualizes minors, including certain poses or clothing, as well as interactions that can be classified as “grooming.”
- Nudity and sexual acts: plugilo is not a platform for sexual content. We remove depictions of nudity, visible intimate body parts, and explicit or suggestive sexual descriptions.
- No sexual harassment: Unwanted advances, sexual innuendos or comments about a person’s appearance in chats or comments are prohibited. plugilo is a professional and topic-oriented network, not a dating platform.
4. Respect, dignity and hate speech
We demand a civilized and respectful tone, comparable to a professional working environment.
- Prohibition of hate speech: Attacks, negative stereotypes, slurs, or exclusion of individuals based on race, ethnicity, caste, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, harmful cultural stereotypes, age, disability, or illness are prohibited.
- Harassment and bullying: Targeting, cyberbullying, doxing or shaming people will not be tolerated.
- Denial of historical facts: Content that denies or trivializes well-documented historical events such as the Holocaust or slavery is prohibited.
5. Authenticity, truth and quality
Since plugilo stands for trustworthy content, we attach extreme importance to the integrity of the information.
- Prohibition of misinformation: Information that is misleading or undermines public trust is prohibited. This includes:
- Health: Medically unsubstantiated claims, anti-vaccination propaganda, unrealistic ideals of beauty or false promises of salvation.
- Climate: Denial of climate change or contradiction to the scientific consensus.
- Elections & Citizenship: Misinformation about electoral procedures or content that disrupts democratic processes.
- Manipulated media (deepfakes): Synthetically generated or manipulated media that could deceive users (e.g., AI-generated statements by people) must be clearly labeled and prohibited if it can cause harm.
- Real identity: Users must use their true identity. Fake profiles, impersonation as another person or organization, and misleading information about qualifications are prohibited.
- Manipulation & Fake Engagement: Any attempts to artificially increase the popularity of products, cards or stacks through automated tools, fake accounts or mutual agreements (engagement pods) are prohibited. Reviews and interactions must be based on real experiences.
6. Intellectual Property and Law
As a platform that aggregates content from different sources (cards/stacks), regulatory compliance is essential.
- Prohibition of hate speech: Attacks, negative stereotypes, slurs, or exclusion of individuals based on race, ethnicity, caste, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, harmful cultural stereotypes, age, disability, or illness are prohibited.

7. Spam and Platform Integrity
To ensure the quality of the "cards" and "stacks" and search results:
No spam: We reserve the right to remove repetitive, irrelevant or unwanted commercial messages. The creation of mass accounts or the use of unauthorized automation is prohibited.
Link Security: Cards must not link to unsafe, deceptive or pure spam websites. Misleading redirects are prohibited.
Technical Security: Attempts to manipulate the platform, scrape (read) data, circumvent the uploading or distribution of viruses, spyware, Trojans or other harmful code or security measures will result in immediate exclusion and will be prosecuted.
8. Commercial and political restrictions
To ensure the quality of the "cards" and "stacks" and search results:
Prohibition of advertising: The platform may not be used for unauthorized commercial advertising, fundraising, or direct sale of products outside of the plugilo affiliate programs provided for this purpose.
Political neutrality: plugilo is a product- and information-centric platform. The use for political campaigns, the application of political office holders or agitation for/against legislation is prohibited.
Transparency in AI: Content created using artificial intelligence that gives the appearance of a real person or a real, unaltered product must be clearly labeled as ‘AI-generated’ or ‘synthetic’.
9. Monitoring, Enforcement and Reporting
To ensure the quality of the "cards" and "stacks" and search results:
- Audit reservation: plugilo reserves the right to randomly check, move or delete content if it violates these guidelines. However, plugilo does not have a general monitoring obligation or responsibility for undetected violations (host provider privilege).
- Reporting: Users can report violations at any time via the integrated reporting function in the app/portal. Legal requests or serious violations should be sent to [email protected] by e-mail.
- Consequences: Violations of these guidelines may result in the limitation of the visibility of cards/stacks, the removal of content, or the temporary or permanent suspension of the plugilo account.
- User involvement: Users are encouraged to report content that violates these strict quality and safety standards via the reporting function.
